Loan Review Committee
The objective of this Committee is to support and strengthen small and medium businesses in our community.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- shall meet once a month to review and evaluate client applications.
- shall evaluate loan applications and approve loans up to $75,000.00 which will include the interest rate to be charged, security to be taken, and special conditions attached to loans. Loans over $75,000.00 (and up to $150,000.00) receive this committee's recommendation to approve or decline, and the Board of Directors ratifies the decision.
- shall review the investment guidelines of the Corporation on an annual basis, and oversee the implementation of these guidelines.
- shall monitor the Investment Portfolio including the review of delinquent accounts and the recommendation of appropriate action to be taken.
- oversees the (Self Employment Benefit) SEB program in partnership with Service Canada.
